Congressional Hypocrisy on Deficits, Guantanamo Bay and Spending on the Afghanistan War

At Wednesday’s House Armed Services Committee hearing, U.S. Rep. Mike Rogers (R-AL) attacked budgeted funds for closing Guantanamo Bay as “asinine” “reckless spending” at a time of record deficits. Unfortunately, he then sought to ensure General McChrystal could have access to another 5,000-10,000 troops…which would cost the U.S. taxpayer $5-10 billion a year.

Look who's talking! Give me a break… Russia Today is a blatant propaganda tv, sort of russian Fox News. This slut Dina better talk about countles and brutal massacres and also tortures by soviet desantniki (paratroopers) that were conducted in Afghanistan in 1979-1989 during soviet (i.e. russian) occupation. They were slaughtering everybody – children and women including, just for fun and because morals of russian soldiers were (and actually still are) as low as ones of ordinary criminals. So my advice to RT – shut up. Your country is in no position to denounce anyone.
